Whenever Scalia starts talking about "our nation's long tradition" I get nervous. <br /><br />I am more interested in the court's refusal to find that video games have a lower level of first amendment protection than other forms of media. Children can view violent movies and television shows (R-ratings are a creature of the movie industry, not of the law), and this case attempted to carve out a different standard for video games. <br /><br />As the internet evolves into a more interactive medium, it more closely resembles a video game than it does a book or a movie.
